Who makes it

Joan RamosJoan RamosFounder, FriendlyApps

I'm Joan Ramos. I make small, free websites, and each one sets out to do one useful thing well.

The first was Mary's Printables, a little site of free printable sheets that I assumed would stay little. Then the notes started coming in. A teacher wrote that she'd found the exact worksheet her class needed. A parent wrote about using a chart with a child who was struggling. Plenty of people were printing something at the last possible minute.

Nobody wrote to praise the design. They wrote because what they needed was there, it worked the first time, and it didn't ask them for a thing. That's what I aim for on every site.

Why I built a habit tracker maker

Habit apps are easy to ignore. A sheet of paper on the fridge or tucked in your planner is much harder to miss. But most printable trackers you find are a fixed list of someone else's habits, or a pretty design that doesn't fit your week.

So I made a builder. You put in your own habits, choose how much of the calendar to see, and get a sheet that fits the page.

What makes a good habit tracker

A good tracker is short. A handful of habits you can really do every day beats a list of twenty you'll drop by Thursday. Marking a box should take a second, and it should show your streak at a glance, because seeing a run of filled-in days is what keeps you going.

Different goals also need different views. A morning routine works best day by day, while a single habit you want to keep all year is easier to follow on one big grid.

What you get

  • 6 layouts: daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, a circle tracker and a full-year "don't break the chain" grid
  • 28 ready-made starting points, from fitness, water and sleep to chore charts, bedtime routines and potty training
  • Monthly grids with the right number of days, including leap years
  • Print all 12 months at once from the monthly layout
  • 3 tracking styles: checkboxes, circles or color-in squares
  • 6 color themes, plus an option to color-code each habit
  • Optional extras like streak boxes, a reward box, a mood row and space for reflection or notes
  • Letter or A4 paper, portrait or landscape
  • Print, save as a PDF, or save as an image
  • Your settings saved in your browser, with nothing to install and no account

If something's off

If a sheet prints wrong, a layout doesn't fit the page, or you'd like a new starting point, email me at [email protected]. I read and answer it myself.
